Phototherapy / IPL therapy
Phototherapy (IPL) treatment for photo rejuvenation of the skin, removal of pigmentation and vascular asterisks, couperose and rosacea.
About IPL therapy
Fototerapijas procedūra (IPL) ir viena no efektīvākajām un populārākajām procedūrām mūsu centrā, pateicoties unikālajai Izraēlas InMode Lumecca iekārtai.
The treatment is based on the impact of an intense light source (IPL - Intence Pulsed Light) on all layers of the epidermis. The effect is achieved through the wave pulses with a length of 580-1200nm. Penetrating through the upper layer of the epidermis, phototherapy can eliminate signs of photoaging, couperose, vascular stars, pigmentation, post-acne spots, laxity, superficial and deep wrinkles.
- IPL photorejuvenation - as a result of a series of treatments, the age-related changes in the skin, which most often appear after the age of 30 - wrinkles, loss of firmness and elasticity, are eliminated. Metabolic processes are activated, increasing the skin suppleness, smoothing the complexion, rejuvenating, lifting and improving the appearance of the unhealthy skin color. This treatment is excellent for rejuvenation of the facial skin.

IPL treatment of pigmentation is a universal treatment which helps to remove a variety of pigmentation disorders of any size, color and structure - freckles, dyschromia, superficial melasma and chloasma (the so-called mask of pregnancy), post-traumatic hyperpigmentation (for example, caused by chemical peeling in the sunny season), improves the complexion. In addition, IPL also copes with the stagnant pigment spots left on the skin after acne, infiltrates, wounds and cuts.
IPL treatment of pigmentation is the most efficient method to combat hyperpigmentation of various origin. - IPL treatment of vascular changes - the removal of vascular formations (located at different depths, of different color range without damage to the skin or burns) - capillary hemangiomas, couperose, vascular stars, dilated capillaries, angiodysplasia, rosacea, reticular varicose veins.
Phototherapy (IPL) is perfectly combined with the other laser and machine methods of treatment.
Most people will need 3-5 sessions to get the maximum results from the phototherapy. The interval between the sessions is normally 3-6 weeks.
The effect can be seen even after the first treatment. The skin is smooth, the number of pigment spots is reduced, the vascular stars are no longer visible.
